Helping Hearts for Hadley Schools is an organization that strives to encourage adults and children in the Hadley community to get active and at the same time raise funds towards special initiatives for our schools. View the segment from NBC-affiliate WWLP's Mass Appeal Television Show on right. What are we raising funds for?
We live in a digital age. Our children are using technology all around them, yet the schools lack the funding to incorporate tools increasingly commonplace in today's digital world. From smart boards, to clickers in the classroom, from laptops on carts to tablets, technology has had a proven and measurable impact on academic performance and proficiency all throughout the US.
Hadley Schools must keep pace with these advances in order to maintain is status as a leading school. This year we are committed to upgrading the technology in the classrooms at the Hadley Elementary School as well as adding to Hopkins Academy's technology needs. Our long term goal is to ensure that both schools are on the forefront of technology advances and that our students are poised to enter the digital workforce. |
